Embarking on the trek from Raithal to Chilapada is a soul-stirring adventure that immerses travellers in the pristine wilderness of the Garhwal region.   The trek from Gangnani to Upper Kyarkoti in the Kyarkoti trail is an exhilarating ascent through rugged mountain terrain and pristine alpine landscapes. Departing from Gangnani, the trail gradually gains altitude, winding its way through verdant forests and meandering streams. As trekkers ascend towards Upper Kyarkoti, they are greeted by breathtaking vistas of towering Himalayan peaks and expansive meadows adorned with colourful wildflowers. The trek, typically takes around 5-6 hours, offering adventurers an immersive experience in the untouched beauty of the Garhwal region’s remote wilderness.

After breakfast, we embark on a thrilling day hike towards Lamkhaga Pass, a high-altitude gateway connecting Uttarakhand to Himachal Pradesh. Our journey will lead us to the base camp of Lamkhaga Pass, offering awe-inspiring views of the surrounding peaks and valleys along the way. En route, we’ll be delighted by the sight of a stunning emerald green lake, adding to the natural splendour of our trek. After soaking in the beauty of the pass and its surroundings, we’ll retrace our steps back to our campsite at Upper Kyarkoti, where we can unwind and reminisce about the day’s adventures amidst the tranquil wilderness of the Garhwal Himalayas.
